Quicksilver Trail Challenge
The Quicksilver Trail Challenge is a trail running event held in late summer or early fall at Almaden Quicksilver County Park in San Jose, California. The event is organized by the Quicksilver Running Club and uses many of the same trails as the club's Quicksilver 50k/100k ultramarathon races. The course passes historic mining landmarks and offers views of Mt. Umunhum and the Santa Cruz Mountains.

- Half marathon trail course using ultramarathon trails
- 10K trail course
- Kids 1 mile fun run with on‑site race day registration
Course support includes aid stations positioned along the half marathon and 10K courses. The half marathon lists multiple aid station locations. The event applies cutoffs at aid stations for the half marathon. Awards are given to the top three finishers by gender and age group, all finishers receive a finisher award, and the kids race awards medals.
Logistics note that bib and goodie bag pickup is available the day before the race and that all entrants must still check in on race day. The Mockingbird parking lot at the start can fill early and street parking adjacent to the lot is not allowed; overflow parking is on nearby residential streets about a quarter mile away.
The club donates a portion of proceeds to local organizations and relies on volunteers for aid stations and race operations. Typical total registration is about 150 runners. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
