Quarry Bank Trail 10K
The Quarry Bank Trail 10K is scheduled for 18 May 2027 at Quarry Bank Mill, Styal Road, Styal, Wilmslow, SK9 4LA. The event takes place within the National Trust grounds of Quarry Bank Mill and the surrounding village and woods.
The race is a single lap of approximately 10 km. Path improvements allow a new one mile loop that extends the course; that loop is flat. The route passes Styal woods and a section adjacent to the airport runway and includes undulating terrain with trail, grass, tarmac, gravel and steps.
Facilities and services listed for the event include chip timing, kilometre markers, drink stations, first aid, toilets, free parking at Race HQ, free baggage storage and bike storage at Quarry Bank Mill. All finishers receive a bespoke medal. Results are available immediately via the event entry platform and finish line texts are sent to entrants who provide a mobile number.
Entry details include separate fees for club runners and non club runners and a minimum age of 16 for trail race entry. Prizes are awarded to the top three male and female finishers on gun times and to veterans across age groups from V35 to V80 plus U20 places; veteran prizes are distributed by email and are based on chip times. Entries close when the event limit is reached or at midnight the night before. Two free transfer options are available and £2 from each entry supports Quarry Bank Mill.
