PWR Endure Ultra 29 May 2027
PWR Endure Ultra is an altered Backyard Ultra held at Tockington Manor in Bristol. Runners complete a repeated loop of 4.167 miles each hour. Each hourly loop must be finished within the hour; the time remaining can be used to recover before the next start.
The format for 2027 includes a cap of 30 hourly loops. Completing 30 loops equals 125.01 miles. If one or more runners remain after loop 30, loop 31 becomes a fastest lap to decide the final placing. The event lists a public runner capacity of 250.
Key competition rules are consistent across the day: starts occur together on the hour, late starts are not permitted, and missing the hourly cut-off or the next start ends a runner’s race. Runners must complete the full marked course; cutting the course results in disqualification. There is no pacing allowed on the course and crew support is restricted to a designated support area between laps.
The event is described as self-supported for the day; runners are advised to bring their own food, hydration, clothing, lighting and recovery kit. The organiser will provide a final briefing that confirms arrival arrangements, facilities, mandatory kit and the precise course for the weekend base at Tockington Manor, Washingpool Hill Road, Bristol BS32 4NY.
