Punk Panther Skipton Skedaddle

Punk Panther Skipton Skedaddle is a trail event based in Skipton, held on 10 April 2027 and organised by Punk Panther Ultra Marathons. The route starts in the market town of Skipton and uses sections of the Dales High Way, the River Aire Ultra and the Pennine Way. The ultramarathon route passes Malham Tarn and Gordale Scar.

Climb for the three distances is approximately 1500, 2200 and 4200 feet respectively. The event awards ITRA points of 1, 1 and 2 and can be used for UTMB qualification Q20K, Q20K and Q50K for the distances listed. Minimum age is 18 and the field is limited to 200 entrants. Registration takes place at St. Andrew's Church, Newmarket Street, Skipton, BD23 2JE. Parking is available at a nearby pay and display car park on Cavendish Street.

Checkpoints provide water, soft drinks, energy bars and options for vegan and gluten free runners; support crews are not allowed at official checkpoints. Ultramarathon entrants receive a tracker and trail race entrants may hire one for a fee. Required kit applies to all distances and includes a waterproof jacket with taped seams, a cup, survival bag, whistle, hat, gloves, personal first aid kit, a hard copy map or route description and a charged mobile phone with the race contact saved. Finishers receive a medal and an event T shirt and there is hot food with vegan and gluten free choices at the finish.
