2027 Point of Rocks 5k, 10k and Half Marathon
This event takes place on March 7, 2027 at Point of Rocks in Maryland. Points earned at the races count toward the Year-Long 5k, 10k, Endurance and Back of the Pack Series, and toward the Winter Series. Walkers are welcome and a virtual race option is available.

The course is an out-and-back on a light gravel dirt path that is basically flat for the entire route. Water stations are limited; there are six stations approximately along the half marathon, three along the 10k, and two along the 5k. Gatorade is available at some stations. Restrooms are located near the parking lot.
Runners receive a finisher medal, a technical event shirt, and electronic chip timing. The half marathon has a completion time limit of 3:15. Awards are given to the top three men and women overall and to first and second place in standard age groups; overall top three finishers are not eligible to also win age group awards.
Packet pickup is available at the event. Race day registration is not permitted due to park service rules. Live results are posted online after the race and final results with series points are posted the Monday following the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
