The Froggy Hollow 5 & 9 presented by Altra is a timed trail ultra held on 12/05/2026 in Little Bennett Regional Park in Clarksburg, MD. The event is organized by Charm City Run Events with sponsorship from Altra and offers multiple timed formats and a short trail race.
Distances and formats include:
- 4.4 miles loop for the 5 hour and 9 hour challenges and relays
- 4.5 miles for the "More Than a 4‑Miler" event
All participants complete the loop through Little Bennett Regional Park. A fully stocked aid station is available on course with a variety of food and hydration options.
Registration opens 07/17/2026 and closes 07/31/2026. Entry fees listed by the organizer range from $40.00 to $75.00 depending on the chosen event and relay option.
Trail rules specified by the organizer prohibit littering, pacers, crew, dogs, bandits, and strollers on the course. Montgomery County Parks MNCPPC has final authority over the event permit and may cancel the in-person event in extreme weather. The 2026 race does not have a rain date.
