Place Fell 15K : Ullswater Valley trail run

Place Fell 15K is a semi-technical trail event of 15 km with 680 m ascent that follows trails and footpaths around the base of Place Fell on the shores of Ullswater. The course is fully waymarked and includes one fully supplied feed station plus manned checkpoints. Electronic timing is provided by Open Tracking.

The event is presented as part of the Helvellyn Skyrunning Weekend and is delivered by a professional events team. Finishers receive a wild flower seed medal. The event takes place in the Ullswater Valley within a UNESCO World Heritage Site and offers options for both running and walking around the fell.

Entries open on 06 October 2026, and on-day entries will be available on Sunday 18 July 2027. The event centre features live music and a relaxed atmosphere during the race weekend. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
