About the race

The Phil Soule Phlail 5K Run & Walk is the 20th annual edition held at Bowdoin College on September 27, 2026. The event is based at the William Farley Field House and takes place during Homecoming Weekend.

The course consists of two laps around the Pickard Field complex, routing through woods and fields. Surfaces are grass and dirt trails with generally good footing and flat terrain.

Entry fee is listed as $20; processing fees may apply. The first 100 registrants will receive a t-shirt, though sizes are not guaranteed.
