Dalemain 10km Trail Run and Children's Fun Runs
The event takes place on Sunday 4 October 2026 at Dalemain Mansion, Penrith CA11 0HB. It is organised by the Rotary Club of Penrith and proceeds will be shared between Jigsaw Children's Hospice and other causes supported by the club. Race HQ and the start are at Dalemain Mansion. Free parking and toilets are provided. Light refreshments will be available in the Dalemain cafe from 10:00. Medical cover on site will be provided by St John's Ambulance. Routes are clearly marked and marshalled.
Distances and key details:
- 10 km Trail Run, two lap scenic course around the Dalemain Mansion Estate. Age 15 years and over. Medals for all entrants; commemorative medals for the first three runners and the first three veteran runners. Registration opens at 09:30.
- 3.3 km Children's Fun Run, one lap on the ground in front of the mansion. Age 9 to 14 years. All entrants must have a responsible adult on site. Medals for all entrants; commemorative trophies for the first three runners. Registration opens at 10:00.
- 2.3 km Children's Fun Run, on the grounds in front of the mansion. Age 4 to 8 years. All entrants must have a responsible adult on site. Medals for all entrants; commemorative medals for the first three runners. Registration opens at 10:00.
Entries open 25 May 2026 and close 3 October 2026. Entry fees listed are £20.00 for the 10 km and £5.00 for each children's run. The entry list showed 33 participants at the time of listing. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
