Dalemain 10km Trail Run and Children's Fun Runs
The event takes place on 4 October 2026 at Dalemain Mansion, Penrith CA11 0HB. It is organised by the Rotary Club of Penrith and will raise money for Jigsaw Children’s Hospice and other good causes supported by the club.
There are three races:
- 10 km Trail Run - two lap course around the Dalemain Mansion Estate
- 3.3 km Children's Fun Run - one lap on the grounds in front of the mansion
- 2.3 km Children's Fun Run - on the grounds in front of the mansion
Age limits are specified for each race: the 10 km run is for those aged 15 years and older; the 3.3 km run is for ages 9 to 14; the 2.3 km run is for ages 4 to 8. All children must have a responsible adult on site. Entry fees are shown as £20 for the 10 km and £5 for each children’s fun run. Entries open on 25 May 2026 and close on 3 October 2026 at 12:00.
Medals are provided for all entrants. Commemorative awards are given to the first three finishers in the junior races and to the first three runners and first three veteran runners in the 10 km. Route marking and marshals are in place. Free parking and toilets are available and light refreshments will be provided in the Dalemain Cafe. Medical cover on site is supplied by St John’s Ambulance.
