Dalemain 10km Trail Run and Children's Fun Runs
The event takes place on Sunday 4 October 2026 at Dalemain Mansion, Penrith CA11 0HB. Race headquarters and the start are at Dalemain Mansion. Proceeds will be divided between Jigsaw Children’s Hospice and other good causes supported by Penrith Rotary Club.
The programme includes the following races:
- 10 km Trail Run two-lap course around the Dalemain Mansion Estate, age 15 or older, entry fee £20
- 3.3 km Children's Fun Run one lap on the grounds in front of Dalemain Mansion, ages 9 to 14, entry fee £5
- 2.3 km Children's Fun Run course on the grounds in front of Dalemain Mansion, ages 4 to 8, entry fee £5
Free parking and toilets are provided at the venue. Light refreshments will be available in the cafe. Medical cover on site is provided by St John’s Ambulance. Routes are clearly marked and marshalled.
All entrants receive medals. The 10 km event awards commemorative medals to the first three finishers and to the first three veteran runners. The children's races award commemorative trophies or medals to the first three finishers. Entries open 25 May 2026 and close 3 October 2026.
