PECO XC Junior League 2026-27 Race 5
PECO XC Junior League 2026-27 Race 5 is one of five junior cross country races organised in and around Leeds. The event takes place at Roundhay Park and forms part of the junior series run alongside the senior league.
Races are chip timed and split by age on 1 September 2026 into two approximate distances:
- ~1 mile for those under 11 on 1 September 2026
- ~2 miles for those aged 11 to under 16 on 1 September 2026
Advance online entry for school years 2 to 11 costs £3 and opens 1 Feb 2027. Each entrant receives a race number with an embedded timing chip that must be kept for the whole season; replacements for lost or damaged junior numbers can be purchased at Race HQ for £2.50.
The course is cross country, undulating, and run over a single lap. The event has an entry limit of 700 and available places are shown by the organiser. Race HQ and registration are alongside The Mansion, Roundhay Park. Facilities are limited: there are no toilets, no water, no changing facilities, no showers, no baggage storage and no distance markers.
