PECO XC League 2026-27 : Race 1 at Temple Newsam Country Park
The PECO Cross Country League is a series of five cross country races held in and around Leeds for clubs affiliated to the League. This meeting takes place at Temple Newsam Country Park and is organised by the PECO XC League.
The course is a single undulating cross-country lap of approximately 4.5 to 5.0 Miles. The event has an entry limit of 2,000 competitors and the race licence is listed as applied for. The course is not suitable for wheelchairs.
Entry for the league season is by season ticket at £17 for club members who are registered with England Athletics. Season tickets can only be purchased online. All entrants are allocated a race number with a timing chip that must be kept for the whole season; replacements for lost or damaged numbers are available at Race HQ for £3 for seniors. Advance entries are used to determine League counters.
Rules for entry include that the league is open only to clubs that are members of the PECO XC League, competitors must be paid-up members of a club affiliated to England Athletics, affiliated members of non-League clubs may run as guests, unattached runners are not permitted, minimum age is 16 on race day, and veteran categories are determined by the date of the first race.
Race registration and toilets are located in The Courtyard at Temple Newsam; the Start and Finish are on the field in front of Temple Newsam House, a short walk from Registration. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
