Peak Raid Race 2 Edale

Peak Raid Race 2 Edale is a fell running score event in the Peak District on 18 October 2026. It is part of a series of four three hour races held across different locations. The terrain includes hills, moors and limestone dales with a mix of high moorland and more runnable valley paths.

Competitors receive a waterproof map with control locations and point values. Each runner or pair has three hours to visit controls and collect as many points as possible. Route choice and navigation are central to the event and teams lose points for late returns. The series uses SiTiming and the best three results count towards the overall league.

Entries open 11 February 2026 and close 15 October 2026. Entry fees are listed as Early Bird £20, Standard £22, and Late £25, with a £2 reduction for FRA members. Minimum age is 14. Competitors may enter solo or as pairs, including mixed pairs and a parent or guardian with an under 18 junior; the junior must be at least 14 and the adult must be over 21. Age categories are determined by age on 31 December 2026.

All competitors must wear or carry the FRA mandatory minimum kit: waterproof whole body cover (jacket and trousers with taped seams and integrated attached hood), hat, gloves, map (provided), compass, whistle, emergency food and a survival bag. Kit will be checked. Prizes require completion of at least two races and are awarded by category. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
