The Fairway Five Trail Race 2026
The Fairway Five Trail Race takes place on 18 October 2026 at Fairway Primary School in Stockport, United Kingdom. The 3rd edition is promoted by the Fairway Primary School PTA with support from Crazy Legs Events.
The event is a trail run of approximately 5.2 miles with about 115 m of ascent. Chip timing is used for results. The race is licensed by UKA Trail Running Association. All finishers receive a bottle of beer. Prizes are awarded to the top three male and top three female finishers and to age category winners, with sponsorship for prizes provided by Run North West. All proceeds from the race are directed to the PTA of Fairway School.
Entry is limited to 300 participants and the minimum age is 18 on race day. Entry fees listed are £14 for unaffiliated runners and £12 for UKA affiliated runners; UK Athletics members receive a £2 discount on validation of membership. Transfers and deferrals are normally permitted up to 48 hours before the event. Individual refunds are issued only at the organiser’s discretion; cancellations may not be rescheduled during 2026 and refunds are subject to the event insurance and any costs already incurred by the organiser.
