Ox Trot 5K
The Ox Trot 5K event takes place at Old Sturbridge Village in Sturbridge, MA on October 25, 2026. The program includes a 5K run, a 2 Mile walk, and a short kids loop around the OSV Common.
The 5K course begins near the Old Sturbridge Academy school building, leads onto Stallion Hill Rd and Old Sturbridge Village Rd, then weaves through wooded and scenic trails within Old Sturbridge Village before finishing back near the school building. The route combines multi-terrain trail sections with stretches of smooth road.
The 2 Mile Walk follows a scenic course through Old Sturbridge Village. The Kids Trot is a single lap around the OSV Common and is open to youth; a small gift is provided to Kids Trot participants.
Registration elements listed for the event include a t-shirt for those registered by October 2, a bib, and limited giveaways: a medal for the first 300 registrants and a mini swag bag for the first 100 5K/Walk registrants. Additional t-shirts were available for purchase during checkout until September 25. Entry fees are stated for each event and a separate fee applies for the Kids Trot.
