About the race
Ox Trot 5K is a multi-distance running and walking event held at Old Sturbridge Village in Sturbridge, MA. The program includes events for adults and children and takes place on a mix of road and trail terrain.

- Kids Trot short lap around the OSV Common
The 5K course begins near the Old Sturbridge Academy school building, follows Stallion Hill Rd and Old Sturbridge Village Rd, then continues through wooded and scenic trails around Old Sturbridge Village before returning near the school building. The course combines smooth road sections with multi-terrain trails. The 2 Mile Walk follows a scenic route through Old Sturbridge Village. The Kids Trot consists of a short lap around the OSV Common and is open to younger participants.
Registration information and fees are listed for each event. Registration opens on August 24, 2026 and closes on November 15, 2026. Fees in the event listing include a $25 fee for the 5K and 2 Mile Walk and a $15 fee for the Kids Trot. Registration benefits vary by date: a t-shirt is included for those who register by October 2, 2026; a medal is available to the first 300 registrants; a mini swag bag is available to the first 100 5K and Walk registrants; Kids Trot participants receive a small gift. Additional t-shirts could be purchased during checkout through September 25, 2026.
