OUTLAST Dallas Fort Worth in Granbury
OUTLAST is a timed trail endurance event held in Granbury, Texas on December 5–6, 2026. The event offers three formats where participants run a 5K loop every hour and must finish each lap within the hour to continue. Runners who finish early may rest until the next round; missing a lap eliminates a participant from continuing.
Courses are trail based with natural terrain, elevation changes, and occasional pavement or gravel. Aid is provided at a basecamp or loop start with water, basic hydration, and snacks. This is a cupless event, so participants bring their own bottle or hydration system. Tent or personal aid setups are permitted at the site.

- 36 miles (12 Hour Challenge)
- 72 miles (24 Hour Challenge)
Recognition and prizes include patches for partial completion (4 laps and 5 laps), a premium 6-inch medal for the 6 Hour finisher, a premium 12-inch medal for the 12 Hour finisher, and a buckle for the 24 Hour finisher. All participants receive a premium OUTLAST tee. Top male and female finishers by combined 5K times earn local awards and leaderboard placement. Finishers are ranked on a world leaderboard and the fastest runner across all OUTLAST 6-hour events earns a World Champion title with a $1,000 prize. Top 5 male and female 6-hour champions from each city earn spots at the Outlast World Championship in DFW on December 4, 2027, with cash prizes for top three places.
