Operation STAUNTON 2026

Operation STAUNTON takes place on September 5, 2026 at Staunton State Park, Pine Junction Area, Colorado. The event offers four route options that vary by distance, carried load, and elevation gain.

  • 6.5 miles (MINI), 10 lb load, 1,099 ft elevation gain
  • 11 miles (STANDARD), 20 lb load, 2,018 ft elevation gain
  • 17.5 miles (MAX), 30 lb load, 2,726 ft elevation gain
  • 21.5 miles (SF), 40 lb load, 3,625 ft elevation gain

Four ticket types correspond to the route options. Base ticket prices are shown from $65 to $95, with additional taxes and ticket service fees noted. The event materials list dry load weights of 10, 20, 30, and 40 pounds for the respective routes.
