The 5K will use Fully Automated Timing (F.A.T.) and will award event T-shirts to the top 10 male and top 10 female finishers. Costumes are encouraged for all participants. The kids’ run emphasizes participation, costumes, and a candy-focused route; parents may walk or run alongside children.
The event features a fall celebration with music, costume contests, make-your-own s’mores, apple cider and hot chocolate included with registration, and photo opportunities. Costume contest categories include Best Individual Costume, Best Group or Family Costume, Best Youth Costume, and Most Creative Costume, with winners announced during the awards celebration. Additional event T-shirts will be available for purchase to benefit the team; shirts are sold separately except for those awarded to top 10 finishers.
Registration fees listed by the organizer are $25 for the adult 5K, $15 for OCU student 5K entries with a student ID number, and $5 for the kids’ candy run. Registrations completed by Monday, October 26, 2026 at 11:59 PM are entered in a gift basket drawing. Proceeds support OCU Track & Field and Cross Country.
