Ocean Parks 5k (Joe Palaia Park)
The Ocean Parks 5k is the third annual community run and walk held at Joe Palaia Park in Ocean Township, New Jersey. The course follows scenic park trails and is organized to raise funds for outdoor recreation improvements for the Township of Ocean.
Location details include the park address at 240 Whalepond Road, Ocean NJ 07712. A separate parking location is provided at Dow Ave Elementary School with a GPS parking address of 555 Dow Ave, Oakhurst NJ 07755; volunteers will be on site to direct participants to the new check-in and the updated start and finish area.
Registration opens on July 4, 2026 and closes on September 26, 2026. The stated registration fee is $25.00. Check-in and event registration begin in the morning on the event day.
All participants receive a runner's medal. Those registered before September 4 are guaranteed an event t-shirt while limited quantities are available. Awards are presented to top finishers in each age group.
