NSCCL round 2 : Stafford Common
NSCCL round 2 at Stafford Common is part of the North Staffs Cross Country League and takes place on 17 Oct 2026. The league uses traditional cross country courses in North Staffordshire and South Cheshire and comprises four races with scoring based on finishing position for both team and individual competitions.
Entry and eligibility rules require runners to be first claim members of an affiliated club; guest runners are not permitted. Club members must wear club colours. Age categories are assigned by date of birth: seniors are assigned by age on 31st August, and junior ages are assigned at the end of the school year on 31st August 2027. For Under 10s, entrants must be at least 9 on race day or aged 8 and registered with EA.
Team scoring and structure are defined by the league. Scores from all four races count for team standings in each age group. For individuals, seniors count all four races while under 17 age groups count their best three of four races. Senior leagues are split into two divisions with the bottom two teams in Division 1 relegated and the top two teams in Division 2 promoted.
