NSCCL round 3 - Parkhall Country Park
This event is round three of the North Staffs Cross Country League (NSCCL) and takes place on 21 Nov 2026 at Parkhall Country Park. The NSCCL runs traditional cross country courses in North Staffordshire and South Cheshire and the league comprises four races. Scoring is based on finishing position and there are both team and individual competitions.
Entry and eligibility follow league rules: runners must be a first claim member of an affiliated club, guest runners are not permitted, and club colours must be worn when representing a club. Age categories are calculated from date of birth and competitors are assigned according to their age on 31st August; under 11s must be at least nine on race day.
Distances:
- Seniors (17 and over): men 8000 m, women 5000 m
- Under 17s: men 5000 m, women 4500 m
- Under 15s: men 4500 m, women 3500 m
- Under 13s: men 3500 m, women 2000 m
- Under 11s: men 2000 m, women 2000 m
Team scoring and race counts are specified by the league. Team scoring counts vary by category (for example, under 11s/13s/15s/17s three to count; senior division 1 men six to count, women four to count). Scores from all four races count for team standings; individual senior totals use all four races while under 17s use the best three of four.
