New Forest Stinger 2026
New Forest Stinger is an off road trail race organised by Totton Running Club at Ocknell Campsite, Fritham, Lyndhurst SO43 7HH. The course is mainly on trail, undulating, and covers 10 miles.
Entries are limited to 301 and close on 19/11/2026. The minimum age to enter is 17. Entry fees are listed as Affiliated £22.50 and Unattached £24.50. Included with entry are an exclusive medal, medical cover, free parking, a goody bag, spot prizes, water stations, toilets, and trophies for first, second and third plus age category winners for 40+, 50+, 60+ and 70+.
The event is run under UK Athletics rules on a Trail Running Association permit. Affiliated entrants must be members of a club affiliated to UK Athletics and state their club name. Race numbers are collected on the day at Race HQ. The start line is about 1 km from Race HQ. The course is unsuitable for standard wheelchairs, though the start and finish area is access friendly for supporters. Dogs are not permitted on the course.
Transfers are permitted. There are no deferrals or refunds; if the race is cancelled any remaining funds after costs will be donated to a local charity. Under UK Athletics rules MP3 players and similar devices are not permitted on the course; bone conducting headphones are allowed. Authorised photography and video may be taken. Athletes with COVID 19 symptoms or a positive test are asked not to attend. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
