Natural Bridge Caverns Trail Run
The Natural Bridge Caverns Trail Run is a trail race at Natural Bridge Caverns in Garden Ridge, Texas on January 31, 2027. Each race begins inside the caverns, routing runners through Pluto's Anteroom before moving onto above-ground Hill Country trails.
The event offers three distance options and distinct course formats. The 5K uses a single-loop route on jeep trails and finishes behind NBC Village. The 10K is an out-and-back that includes a notable hill before it joins the 5K route and finishes behind NBC Village. The half marathon covers a longer mix of Hill Country terrain, trails, hills, and varied scenery.
- 5K: single-loop on jeep trails with cave start and finish behind NBC Village.
- 10K: out-and-back with a hill, then joins the 5K route to finish behind NBC Village.
- Half Marathon: extended trail course with mixed terrain and hills.
Packet pickup is available Saturday, January 30, 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Natural Bridge Caverns, and there are morning packet pickup windows on race day. If packets are picked up on race morning, participants must return to their vehicles until the scheduled pre-race meeting; attendance at the pre-race meeting is mandatory.
Participants receive a finisher medal, race awards for top finishers, an event T-shirt, and post-race food including Kiolbassa Sausage. The refund policy: no refunds for weather or venue issues; a 50% refund, excluding registration fees, is available if requested more than 14 days before the event.
