About the race
Mujeres & Marigolds is a women’s only trail running event at Rocky Hill Ranch in Smithville, Texas on Oct 24, 2026. The event offers multiple race options, including a 100 km distance with a 100 km relay, and limits entries to 300 runners. A virtual race option is available.
All genders may pace, crew, volunteer, and attend. The course is described as having small climbs and many rollers, requiring frequent gear changes. The race format uses looped courses: the 100 km covers four loops, the 50 km two loops, and the 25 km, 10 km, and 5 km each use a single loop. Aid stations are located at 5 km, 10 km, and the main aid station; all three are full aid stations stocked with drinks, sodas, sweets, salty snacks, sandwiches, warm food options, medical supplies, and feminine care products.
The event is cupless at aid stations; runners should plan to use reusable cups, bottles, or hydration packs. Drop bags are collected for placement at the aid stations. There is a 24 hour overall cutoff for the event. Pacers are permitted for the 100 km after a runner has completed half the distance or after dark.
Packet pickup is scheduled at Frontier Cellars and at the start/finish area. Finisher awards include buckles for the 100 km and 50 km and medals for remaining distances and the relay.
