Mujeres & Marigolds Trail Run
Mujeres & Marigolds is a women’s only trail running event held on October 24, 2026 at Rocky Hill Ranch in Smithville, TX. The event has a maximum field of 500 runners and includes individual distances plus a relay option.
The course is looped and features small climbs and many rollers. Separate loop routes are used for shorter distances, including specific 25k, 10k, and 5k loops. There are three staffed aid stations located at approximately 5 km, 10 km and the main aid area; all aid stations are full aid and provide a range of drinks, sweets, salty snacks, PB&Js and hot items, plus basic medical supplies and feminine care products. The event does not provide disposable cups at aid stations; runners should use reusable cups, bottles, or hydration packs.
Race policies include a 24-hour overall cutoff and a rule that distances begun must be finished to receive that distance’s award; dropping to a shorter distance during the race results in a DNF. Online distance changes are permitted through race week Wednesday; later changes may be restricted if distances are sold out. Pacers are allowed for the 100k after the halfway point or at night.
Packet pickup is available the day before and the morning of the race. Park entry, camping, and RV fees apply per ranch rules. Finisher awards include buckles for 100k and 50k and medals for the shorter distances and relay; winners awards are given by distance and age categories. Volunteer shifts range from 4 to 8 hours and include race merchandise, park entry, camping area, and a provided meal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
