Mosaic Trail Race
Mosaic Trail Race is a multi-distance trail event held at Canyon of the Eagles LCRA Park on the north shore of Lake Buchanan in Burnet, Texas. The event takes place in December 2026 and lists Austin and Burnet as the closest larger cities.

Course format follows looped laps: the 50K runs roughly three 10.3+ mile laps, the 26.2 mile distance uses four 6.55 mile laps, the 13.1 mile distance uses two 6.55 mile laps, and the 10K and 5K each complete one lap. Routes share a main loop with signed shortcuts for shorter distances so no navigation is required at intersections.
Terrain reflects Texas Hill Country with some wider jeep roads, tighter singletrack, hard-packed dirt, rocks, creek beds, bluffs, ravines, cacti, climbs, and descents. The course is extensively marked with caution tape, yellow arrows, confidence markers, and reflective elements for low light.
Aid stations are placed so no runner needs to carry water or fuel for more than about 3.5 miles. The event is cupless; participants must bring their own cup or bottle. Leave No Trace practices are enforced and littering can lead to disqualification.
Timing is chip based with ankle-worn chips. Pacers are not allowed. Overall awards include Top 3 Overall and Top 1 Masters per distance. The youth mile is untimed; participants receive a bib and finisher medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
