Morland Half Marathon

The Morland Half Marathon takes place in Morland in the Eden Valley on Sunday 15 August 2027. For 2027 the route is reversed from previous editions. The course starts and finishes at Morland Village Hall CA10 3AS and parking is available.

The trail distance is 13.6 miles with approximately 1330 ft of ascent. The route is largely off road on mixed terrain and is partially self navigated with some signage. It passes rivers, becks, Eden Valley villages, woodlands and pastures. Two checkpoints provide water and snacks. The event allows five hours to complete the course and tail runners will support finishers.

Entries are paid and include a finishers medal; an optional finisher tee is available for an additional £8. Standard and affiliated entry prices are published by the organiser. Trophies are awarded in overall and age category classes including male, female, non binary and veteran categories.

Walkers aged over 17 may take part provided they finish within the five hour limit. Support runners are permitted but must be self sufficient. Dogs are allowed with leads in areas of livestock and should be avoided in hot weather. First aid and event insurance are provided. The event operates a no single use plastics policy and offers the option to plant a tree instead of taking a t shirt. Race permit ARC/26/0581. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
