Moosup Valley 10K All Trail Race

Moosup Valley 5K, 8K, 10K and Kids Fun Run
This event is held on September 27, 2026 on the Moosup Valley State Park Trail. Routes run entirely on the state park trail. The event includes several distances and a separate kids fun run.
- 5K All-trail course on the state park trail
- 8K All-trail course with two brief road crossings toward Rhode Island
- 10K All-trail course with one road crossing toward Moosup
- Kids Fun Run Short course with cookies and lemonade afterward
The courses include five water stations. Leashed, well behaved dogs are welcome. Parking is available next to Weidele's Pizza and Pub at 50 Main Street, Moosup CT, which serves as the starting and finishing area for all races.
After the races, participants receive a choice of medallion or a tee shirt; registration by September 15 is required to secure shirt size. Food and beverages are provided at Weidele's Pizza, and winners are announced there while people may use the restaurant lawn and picnic tables.
Proceeds support The Rotary Club of Plainfield, CT Foundation, which focuses on food insecurity and women's health products for underserved local community members. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
