About the race
Mingus Mayhem is a time-based loop race held in Mingus Park, Coos Bay, OR, organized by Run Pacifica. The event offers two time categories and is free to enter. The loop measures 1.12 miles with about 140 feet of elevation gain per lap. The course surface is roughly 70% unpaved and 30% paved, with the unpaved sections consisting of double-track trail and gravel road that sees very light car use by park visitors.
