Mingus Mayhem - Coos Bay, OR

Mingus Mayhem is a loop-format timed running event held in Mingus Park in Coos Bay, Oregon on November 14, 2026. The course uses a 1.12 mile loop with about 140 feet of elevation gain per lap. Surfaces are roughly 70% unpaved and 30% paved, with the unpaved sections consisting of double-track trail and gravel road that sees very light car use from park visitors. The route is manageable in road shoes.

The event provides a communal base camp under a park gazebo with picnic benches and a shared large water jug. Participants are expected to carry their own fuel and other ultramarathon supplies. Entry to the event is free. The race is organized by Run Pacifica and takes place at 725 N 10th St, Coos Bay, OR.
