Run Whiskey Run
Run Whiskey Run is a trail race that uses a section of the Whiskey Run mountain biking trail system near Charleston on Oregon's Adventure Coast. The chosen section is cordoned off for runners and starts and finishes at the main Whiskey Run Trailhead.
The course is entirely single-track trail, shaded and sheltered, with rolling, smooth, loamy surfaces. Because the routes are 100 percent trail, the event is not stroller friendly and runners are asked to leave dogs at home. There are two vault toilets available and there are no changing areas.
Course options listed by the organizer:
- 1.5 Mile (Shirley Temple), shorter loop suitable for walkers and adventurous families
- 5 Mile (Whiskey Ginger), full loop on single-track trails
- 10 Mile (Double Shot), two loops for the longer course
Projected distances and actual distances may vary. Maps provided by the organizer do not start at the parking lot. The course layout changed in 2026 due to trail closures for logging. Course support is provided for part of the event.
