Miami 100
The Miami 100 is an open-road urban ultramarathon scheduled for Saturday, September 25, 2027, in Miami, Florida. The course runs through multiple neighborhoods including Wynwood, Miami Beach, Key Biscayne, Calle Ocho, Coconut Grove and Brickell. The route uses pedestrian paths and sidewalks but intersects vehicular traffic; runners must follow all pedestrian laws.
Support and navigation are crew-dependent. Runners who have not previously finished the Miami 100 must have a crew; crew is limited to one vehicle per runner. Runners who have previously completed the race may run unsupported using drop bags. There are no aid stations; the event uses manned checkpoints and directional cards. The first portion of the course map is given on race morning and remaining segments are handed out at manned checkpoints placed approximately every 15 to 20 miles.
Time limits and capacity are set for safety and logistics. The Miami 100 has a 32 hour course cutoff for 2027. The Miami 130 Challenge adds 30 miles immediately after the 100 mile finish and has an overall 40 hour cutoff; entry to the 130 requires finishing the 100 within its cutoff. The event is limited to 50 runners. Pre-race check-in and packet pick-up occur on Friday, September 24 between 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm, and a mandatory briefing for first-time participants and crews is held that evening; the meeting can be attended in person or virtually.
