Lost in Miami Ultra

Lost in Miami Ultra is a fixed-time urban ultra event held in Miami on January 9, 2027. Participants have 18 hours to accumulate as many miles as they can while visiting required landmarks around the city. The event uses a no-route format: there is no set course, no loops, and organizers do not provide route cards or prescribed directions. Runners choose their own path between landmarks.

Participants receive a list of required landmark locations the day before the event. Rankings are based on the most miles accumulated during the allotted time and require GPS-verified proof of distance. Runners must take a selfie at each landmark and show those pictures at the finish to register miles officially. To be eligible for podium awards, runners must reach all required landmarks and return to the finish on foot.

The event is limited to 40 runners. Finishers receive a Lost in Miami t-shirt, additional surprise swag, and a finisher medal. If a participant stops running and uses a ride to return to the finish, they are counted as a finisher and receive credit for miles completed on foot but are not eligible for podium awards. The start and finish location is Hero Martial Arts in Palmetto Bay, Florida. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
