Memphis Running Festival
The Memphis Running Festival is a multi-event running day in Memphis, Tennessee, organized around looped trails in a park and oriented toward community participation. The event centers on endurance formats and shorter loop races held on established trails within the park.
- 12-hour solo and relay teams of three
- 6-hour solo and relay teams of three
- 5K and 10K
- Free Kids Dash on the 1.47 mile loop
- Donut Dash on the 1.47 mile loop with five donuts
- Single loop race on the 1.47 mile loop
- Three-peat relay, three runners share three loops
All races follow the Old Forest Loop or the Limestone Loop trail, which run parallel through the park. Participants are asked to use the limestone trail where the loop is accessible by car so the road remains open for vehicles.
A Run Club Showcase brings local running clubs together for fun runs and opportunities to connect with other runners during the event. The festival also includes an evening sequence of themed races and a Golden Hour celebration near the event close to support 12-hour participants.
An aid station at Rainbow Lake Pavilion supplies water, electrolyte drinks or mix, coke, sprite, pickle juice, pancakes, bacon, and other snacks. Runners in the 6-hour and 12-hour events may set up tents on the greenspace to manage their own aid supplies.
All finishers receive a t-shirt and a finisher medal. Entries after November 1 are not guaranteed those items. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
