Lost Souls Trail Run is a trail race at Rocky Hill Ranch, 578 FM 153, Smithville, TX, on Oct 25, 2026. Distances offered include:

The course includes small climbs and many rollers that require frequent gear changes. The 50k is run as two loops of the main circuit; the 25k, 10k, and 5k are single-loop courses. There is a 12 hour overall cutoff for the event.
There are three full aid stations located at 5k, 10k, and the main aid station. Aid stations are stocked with drinks (Gatorade, water, electrolyte mix), sodas, sweets and salty snacks, PB&Js, bean burrito rolls, fruit, medical supplies (no NSAIDs), and a selection of warm or substantial foods such as quesadillas, soups, ramen, and potatoes. The event is cupless at aid stations, so participants should plan to use reusable cups, bottles, or hydration packs. Drop bags are collected for placement at aid stations.
Race policies note a 500 runner maximum field and state that once a race begins, participants must finish the distance entered to receive the corresponding medal; dropping to a shorter distance during the race results in a DNF. Online distance changes are permitted until Wednesday of race week; later changes must be made in person and may be restricted if distances are sold out.
All finishers receive medals, shirts, and event swag. Awards are given to the top three overall at each distance and to the top two masters 50+ at each distance. Parking and camping fees apply at the ranch with reduced rates for children under 12. Volunteer shifts range from 4 to 8 hours and include park entry, a camping area, race merchandise, and a provided meal; volunteers who complete shifts may receive future registration discounts or a comped entry.
