Lookout to Lookout to Lookout - Black Mountain, NC
This event is a road and trail running race of about 10 miles based in Black Mountain and Montreat, North Carolina. The Start and Finish are at Lookout Brewing Company and the course is an out and back from the brewery to the Lookout trailhead. From the trailhead runners follow a loop up and over Lookout Mountain, combining faster road and greenway sections with technical trail terrain.
Aid is provided at the Lookout trailhead and at locations near mile 3 and mile 8. The Finish area will offer water, snacks, cold beer and a food truck. The race uses a four hour cutoff.
Packet pickup is handled at Lookout Brewing Company. There is no parking available at the brewing company; several free public parking lots are located two to three blocks away and parking is also available behind Black Mountain Primary School. The brewing company lot is reserved for the Start and Finish area and event infrastructure.
Registration closes February 18, 2027. After January 1, 2027 there are no refunds or transfers; the event enforces a strict no refund and no transfer policy. Awards for participants include hoodies and a beer token for those 21 and older, plus special awards for the top male and female finishers.
