Llama Experience Ultra
Llama Experience Ultra is a trail running event held on March 13 at Ellaberry Llama Farm near Hendersonville, NC, on the private grounds of the farm and through adjacent apple orchards. The course uses loops and mountain trails marked with red ribbons and yellow arrows.
The route passes through terrain used by the resident llamas and is described as the new llama route. Total elevation gain on the course is 158 feet. The event takes place on natural trails and includes varied mountain scenery.
Distances offered:
- 12 hour format
- 6 hour format
- 3 hour format
Aid stations provide a range of food and drink items including pickles, cereal, fruit, candy, pretzels, bacon, Tailwind, water, and soda. First aid personnel are onsite. Every finisher receives a medal.
