Long Night In Lanford
Long Night In Lanford is a dusk to dawn trail event on November 21, 2026 in Enoree, SC, organized by G.O.A.T. Trail Running. The event uses a compact off-road loop of 1 mile that starts and finishes at a barn on gravel and passes downhill through woods, across an open field along Beaverdam Creek, and through pine trees and hay pastures before returning to the barn.
Finishers must complete their first lap at dusk and their final lap at dawn. Laps counted through the night determine the winner by who records the most laps by sunrise. There are no cut-off times and no speed requirements listed; participants may walk, jog, or run.
Night running requires personal lighting: participants wear headlamps and use flashlights during night laps. Organizers will signal race milestones with horn blasts, and an aid station is scheduled to offer snacks, water, and hot food overnight, supported by volunteers and sponsors.
On-site amenities include space for tents and crew setups and professional race photography. Hot breakfast is provided at sunrise and awards are given to top finishers. The course may include uneven terrain and wildlife; strollers and pets are not allowed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
