Long Night In Lanford is a dusk-to-dawn trail event held November 21, 2026 in Enoree, SC, organized by G.O.A.T. Trail Running. The event uses a repeated off-road loop of 1 mile around a farm property. To be recorded as a finisher, participants must complete the first lap at dusk and the final lap at dawn. There are no cut-off times or speed requirements; participants may walk, jog, or run.
The course begins at a barn on gravel, moves downhill into wooded sections, crosses an open field along Beaverdam Creek, passes through pine trees and hay pastures, and returns to the barn. Terrain is uneven and wildlife may be present. Strollers and pets are not permitted.
Night running relies on personal light sources; participants are asked to bring headlamps or flashlights. Aid station support is provided throughout the event with snacks, water, and hot food supplied by volunteers and sponsors. Horn blasts are used to mark the start, a mid-event direction change, and the final lap at dawn.
