About the race
Loch Logan Noon2Noon is a 24-hour lap endurance event held at The Stables, Woodland Hills Wildlife Estate in Bloemfontein, Free State. Participants choose to enter either mountain bike or trail run and may race solo or as part of a social relay team of three for the trail run class. The format lets entrants complete as many laps as they wish during the 24-hour period.
Distances per lap:
- Mountain Bike: 8 km per lap
- Trail Run: 4 km per lap
The race village and Start/Finish area include food stalls, a bar, a hydration station, toilets and showers, and live music around a Boma fire. Limited 4x4 m campsites are available for R200 each; vehicles are not allowed in the race village and campsites are pre-allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Entry fees change by date: early bird R350 until 30 May 2026, R400 until 30 June 2026, R450 until 31 July 2026, final online entries R500 until 26 August 2026, and manual late entries at registration are R600. Children under 12 entering with a parent receive a R100 discount (one discounted child per adult). Entries received before 15 August 2026 receive a participation medal and event socks. Registration and race number collection take place on 27 August 2026 in the afternoon.
The event is organised by GRiT Events and hosted at Woodland Hills Wildlife Estate. Participants must wear a race number to be on the route and accept the event risks and venue rules. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
