Loch Logan Noon2Noon - 24-hour MTB and Trail Run
Loch Logan Noon2Noon is a 24-hour endurance event hosted at The Stables, Woodland Hills Wildlife Estate in Bloemfontein, Free State. Participants choose either mountain bike or trail run, and may enter as solo competitors or as social relay teams of three. Team entries are available for the trail run class only.
The event is a lap format; participants complete as many laps as they wish during the 24-hour period. Distances per lap:
- MTB lap: 8 km
- Trail run lap: 4 km
The race village and Start/Finish are located at the Woodland Hills stables. The village includes food stalls, a bar, a hydration station at Start/Finish, toilets and showers, and live music around a boma fire. Limited 4x4 m campsites are available for R200; no vehicles are allowed in the race village and campsites are pre-allocated on a first come, first serve basis.
Entries are limited and previous editions have sold out. Pricing tiers before the event are R350, R400, R450, R500, with manual late entries at R600; all prices in ZAR. Children under 12 entering with a parent receive a R100 discount (one discounted child per adult) and must be supervised. Entries received before 15 August will receive a participation medal and event socks.
All participants accept the risks associated with the event, agree to indemnify the organisers and hosts, and must wear a race number to be allowed on the route. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
