Farm Yard Ultra - Last Person Standing
Farm Yard Ultra is a last person standing trail and mountain bike event held at Boomrits Adventures in Bloemfontein, Free State, South Africa on 22 and 23 August 2026. Athletes complete repeated loops every hour on the hour; each loop must be finished within that hour and the remaining time becomes recovery before the next start.

- Run: 6.705 km
- MTB: 13.4 km
Starts are signalled at the bell. Competitors must be inside the measured starting corral at the bell and begin each loop on time. During a loop, participants may not leave the course except for restrooms and may not receive personal aid, though common aid stations are permitted. Slower athletes must allow faster competitors to pass.
The winner is the last athlete to complete a solo loop; all others are recorded as DNF. If no athlete completes one more loop than the rest, there is no winner. The event publishes distances completed by each athlete.
Event options include the last person standing format, timed endurance entries from one to twelve hours, an ultra distance challenge targeting 50 km plus for runners and 100 km plus for riders, team relays, and a Saturday fun run or ride of one or two laps with a separate entry fee.
