Little Duck 50k - Cherry Hill Farm Ultra

Little Duck 50k is a trail ultramarathon held in Windham, ME on October 18th, 2026. The event uses a five‑loop format on a circuit that combines the Purple, Red, and Blue trails at the East Windham Conservation Area and the Lowell Preserve, totaling 32.5 mi (five laps of 6.5 mi each). Each loop includes approximately 900 ft of elevation gain.

The course routing begins on the Purple trail, follows the Red and Blue trails with runners instructed to stay right at the trail junctions, and returns to the start/finish area at the EWCA parking lot. There are two aid stations per loop; stations provide snacks, water, and electrolyte drinks. Volunteers monitor runner progress and the organizers state a no runner left behind policy, remaining until the final finisher crosses the line.

A GPX file and a course map are provided for the route. Field logistics note a small inaugural race size of 10 to 50 runners. Upon completion runners receive a t-shirt, which is likely a cotton Hanes style rather than a technical shirt. A time cut off applies for the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
