LDWA Jurassic Hundred 2027
The Long Distance Walkers Association annual 100-mile event takes place in East Devon over the late May bank holiday weekend, running from 29 to 31 May 2027. The 54th edition starts and finishes in Axminster, with the base at Axminster Football Club in Axminster, Devon.
The route crosses county borders into Dorset to reach Lyme Regis, then mainly follows the South West Coast Path eastwards to Exmouth. From there the course runs north along the Exe Estuary before turning inland on the East Devon Way and returning through hilltop heathland, river valleys and the Axe Valley. The event is timed over a 48 hour period and will include steep climbs and extensive coastal and inland views depending on the weather.
Organised by the Cornwall and Devon Group for the LDWA, the event has an age minimum of 18. Entries for 2027 opened 12 October 2026 and close 30 April 2027; entries recorded so far total 433 participants. Entry fee for LDWA members is listed as £135. The event page notes a cancellation and refund policy and offers optional XCover to allow for possible refunds if participants cannot attend.
