Laurel Highlands Ultra - Fall Classic
The Laurel Highlands Ultra - Fall Classic is a point to point ultramarathon on the Laurel Highlands Hiking Trail in Somerset County, Pennsylvania. The event covers a 50 mile course that begins near Mile Marker 46 at the Rt 30 trailhead and finishes at Mile 0 on Garrett Road in Ohiopyle, ending in town near Falls City Pub. The course includes approximately 46 miles on the LHHT with over 7,500 ft of elevation ascent and about 8,500 ft of descent.

The five person relay has legs between 4 and 14 miles. Relay exchange locations are to be determined. Relay team members must plan their own transportation to exchange points; the pre-race shuttle may be used for the first runner. No pacers may join relay teams. Relay members may also enter the individual 50 mile race if registered for both events and if they run the first leg for their team.
There will be 6 to 7 staffed aid stations located at trailhead parking lots. Aid stations will be fully stocked with hydration, basic foods, and some vegan and gluten free options. Crew and spectators have access at Miles 14, 27, 31, and 39; there is no access at Miles 7, 20, or 44. Pacers may join at Mile 39 and must continue to the finish.
