Larrabee Lakes : August 7, 2027
Larrabee Lakes is a trail race event in Bellingham, WA, organized by Evergreen Trails and held on August 7, 2027. All distances start and finish at Fairhaven Park and begin toward Larrabee State Park on the Interurban Trail. Registration opens November 9, 2026.
The courses share sections and split at several points; runners must follow course markings for their distance. Terrain includes smooth singletrack, forested climbs, narrow ridgelines, lakeside sections, and rocky, steep portions. Runners encounter sustained elevation gain, technical ups and downs, a long descent to Old Samish Road for the 50K course, and a strenuous out and back to the Samish aid station before rejoining ridge sections. The 25K route climbs to a ridge via stairs and technical trail before descending to the finish. The 12K returns to the finish after the first ridgeline.
Trails remain open to other users during the event, including equestrians, pedestrians and cyclists. The organizer advises caution on rough sections and refers participants to race safety information for lost or injured runners.
Finishers receive a unique handcrafted race award. Evergreen Trail Runs was founded in 2010 and operates as a sister brand to Orca Running. The event has a no refund policy; options for deferral, entry transfer, or switching to another Evergreen event are available with fees and timing conditions.
