Lake Tye Challenge
Lake Tye Challenge is a timed endurance event held at Lake Tye in Monroe, WA, on a flat, paved 1.70 mile loop trail around the lake. The event offers multiple timed race options and lap-based competition with only full laps counted in results.

A full aid station is provided at the start/finish of each lap with music, water, Hammer electrolyte fuel products, and energy-rich foods. Chip timing with online tracking is provided by chronokeep.com. Late starts after the official mass start are allowed with prior notification to the race desk.
The start/finish area includes a grass lawn for personal drop bags and canopies (no spikes) and bag storage at the aid station. The venue has direct beach access for cooling down during or after the event. Each participant receives a wooden medal or coaster and free professional race photos; the top three male and female finishers receive special awards.
The event is organized by Sky Valley Trail Runners Association, a nonprofit 501(c)(3); proceeds are used to improve and maintain the local trail network in the Monroe-Sultan-Gold Bar-Index area.
