About the race
Lake Anna Turkey Trot 5K, 10K, & Half takes place at Lake Anna State Park in Spotsylvania Courthouse on November 27, 2026. The event offers in-person and virtual options and features mixed trail and road terrain.
The courses are:
- 5K trail course
- 10K 50% trail and 50% paved road
- Half Marathon 50% trail and 50% paved road
Walkers are welcome. Participants are responsible for park entrance fees or may use an existing state park pass to enter the park.
Registration uses tiered pricing that changes by date. Example in-person price ranges shown for the main distances are:
- 5K: $33.63 to $44.30
- 10K: $49.64 to $60.31
- Half Marathon: $70.99 to $81.66
Virtual entry options are available with different inclusions and prices, such as a virtual entry with medal for $20.82 and a virtual entry without medal or shirt for $12.28.
