Tree of Life 10K, 5K and Pioneer 1 Mile Race
The Tree of Life Christian Preparatory School presents its 8th annual running events on March 14, 2027 at Chancellorsville Battlefield in Fredericksburg, VA. The program includes trail and neighborhood routing with gravel and dirt surfaces and rolling hills on a scenic loop around the historic battlefield.
Distances:
- 10K (6.2 miles)
- 5K (3.1 miles)
- Pioneer 1 Mile Fun Run (1 mile)
The course has a new reverse layout and a relocated start and finish, which removes the need for race day transportation between points. The 5K is part of the FARC Grand Prix Series. Parking is available on the battlefield near the start and finish at 7812-7832 Montpelier Drive, Fredericksburg, VA 22407. A portion of event proceeds will benefit VFW Post 3103.
Registration opens October 24, 2026 and closes March 6, 2027; registering by February 28, 2027 provides a guaranteed race shirt. Published registration fees are $40 for the 10K, $35 for the 5K, and $25 for the 1 mile. Walkers and strollers are welcome and the event is presented as family friendly.
