Koala Bottle Table Rock 15K & 5K
The event is a pair of trail races held at Table Rock State Park in Pickens, South Carolina. The start and finish are at The Pinnacle Pavilion near 1025 Table Rock State Park Road, Pickens, SC 29671. Park entry requires a $6.00 fee at the front gate.
Distances
- 15K currently closer to 17K, climbs nearly 2,000 feet over the first 5 miles.
- 5K single track that follows Carrick Creek with a short climb and a downhill return.
The 15K follows the 5K route for the first two miles, then continues to the high point of Pinnacle Mountain with multiple stream crossings, exposed roots, and jagged rocks on the descent. The course passes Bald Rock and other overlooks with notable scenic views. The 5K loops from the nature center, crosses Carrick Creek, climbs toward Pinnacle Mountain, then returns downhill toward the finish area.
Included items and event services listed by the organizer are a race shirt, finisher awards for all finishers, and post race food and cold drinks at the finish. Awards include first through third overall, first masters male and female, and age group awards. The organizer states the race proceeds in rain or shine and that all registrations are final.
