Kettlewell 10 km Trail Race
Part of the Due North Trail Race Series, the Kettlewell 10 km follows the same route as the Kettlewell Trail Half Marathon. The course takes runners up the climb out of Arncliffe to the top of Arncliffe Moor, then follows about 3 km along the moor that is mainly a gentle downhill with some undulating sections. The route offers views over Starbotton and Kettlewell and finishes with a downhill section looking towards Kilnsey Crag.
The event uses a partially way marked course and provides drinks stations with water and juice, a post race meal such as pie or soup, Due North merchandise and goodies from sponsors. Toilets are located in the car park and free car parking is provided in the start field.
The race venue for start and finish is the car park field at Hawkswick Cote. Runners must register at the tent in the car park to collect race numbers. Minimum age for entry is 17. Entry fees are shown by affiliation with a listed price for UKA/TRA affiliated and a different price for unaffiliated entrants, and a discount is available when entering multiple events in the series. Prizes are awarded for top finishers and for age categories and winners will be contacted by email. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
