Jacobsburg State Park 5K Trail Run
This event is a community 5 kilometer trail run and walk held on May 1, 2027 at Jacobsburg State Park, 400 Belfast Road, Nazareth, Pennsylvania. The course uses the Homestead Trail. Parking is available in the Environmental Center parking area or the main parking lot.
Proceeds support a Wreaths Across America project to sponsor wreaths to be laid on veterans' graves at Holy Family Cemetery in Nazareth. The event is organized to raise funds for that purpose.
Registration information is provided in advance. Registration opens 9/1/2026 and closes 12/1/2026. The registration fee is $30.00. T-shirts are offered to early registrants in adult sizes S to XL and kids sizes S to L; special sizes may be accommodated by request.
On-course amenities include indoor bathrooms nearby, a water station at the start and finish area, and one water station at the midway point. Light refreshments such as fruit, snacks, water and bagels are available at the finish line.
Competition prizes include awards for best times in age brackets, and contests for costume categories. The costume contests include Most Patriotic and Most Holiday Spirit, with prizes for one adult and one child in each category. Costume contests are open to all registered participants.
