About the race
Ivybridge 3 Tops takes place on 15 August 2026 and is organised by Erme Valley Harriers as part of the Dartmoor Fell Series. The route has been agreed with landowners and the Dartmoor National Park Authority, and part of the entry fee will support erosion management on Harford and Ugborough Moors. Race headquarters and registration are at the rugby club, with parking at the railway station and a short walk to the start on the edge of the moor (GR 654569). The senior course goes onto open moor with tracks, tussocky sections and stream crossings; competitors should expect steep hills and uneven ground and wear suitable footwear.
The route will include mandatory checkpoint marshals and a cut-off at Scad Brook (approx. 3 miles) of 60 minutes. There is no mandatory kit but a whistle, raincoat and hat are recommended in poor weather.
No water will be provided on the route. Prizes are awarded for top senior male and female places plus U20 and veteran categories V40, V50, V60 and V70, and for first clubs with three male or three female finishers. Junior races require parental permission on the entry form and have age categories based on the calendar year end. Post race refreshments will be available from the rugby club bar and kitchen.
