About the race
Husky Trail Fest takes place in Trussville, AL on March 20, 2027. The event offers multiple trail distances on a repeated loop course.

The course is a repeated 5k loop that follows the Original Husky Challenge route as closely as possible and begins and ends in the Trussville Youth Football Field parking lot. Multi-lap participants (50K, 25K, 15K) receive a dog tag at registration that is punched on each lap to record laps. 5K participants receive their dog tag after finishing.
There are two regular self-serve aid stations on the course. 50K and 25K participants may set up a personal aid station in their car in the parking lot at the start/finish area or inside a cooler or storage box in the start/finish aid station. The event includes a 50K relay; each relay team receives a baton that must be punched after each leg and team members receive dog tags once the final member finishes.
Packet pickup is available the day of the race beginning at 9:45 am. There is a hard cut off for all participants at 8 pm. Participants who may be on the trail after sundown should bring a headlamp. Proceeds benefit the Trussville Historical Society. The event was postponed from Nov 21, 2026 to Mar 20, 2027. Entry fees are listed from $20.00 to $25.50.
