About the race
The Husky Trail Fest is a trail running event in Trussville, Alabama, held on March 20, 2027. The event was postponed from November 21, 2026 to the March date. Proceeds from the event support the Trussville Historical Society.
The course is a repeated 5k loop that follows the Original Husky Challenge route as closely as possible and begins and ends in the Trussville Youth Football Field parking lot. Packet pickup will be available on the day of the race.
Aid and race logistics:

- 5K
There are two regular self-serve aid stations on the course. Participants in the 50K and 25K have the option to use a personal aid station in their car in the start/finish parking lot or to place supplies in a cooler or storage box at the start/finish aid area.
Multi-lap participants (50K, 25K, 15K) receive a dog tag at registration that is punched each lap to track laps. A 50K relay is offered; each team receives a baton that must be punched after each leg. Team members receive their dog tags once the final team member finishes. 5K participants receive a dog tag after finishing.
