Huntsville Slam
The Huntsville Slam is an endurance challenge organized by the Huntsville Track Club in Huntsville, Alabama. It requires completing four designated races held between November and January to qualify for the finisher award.
Required races:
- Dizzy Fifties 50K - November 21, 2026
- Rocket City Marathon - December 13, 2026
- Recover from the Holidays 50K - December 31, 2026
- Mountain Mist 50K - January 23, 2027
Participants must register individually for each required race and also register for the Huntsville Slam. Slam registration closes December 5, 2026 at 11:59 PM CST; no late entries will be accepted and registration is non-refundable.
Only the four listed races qualify for the Slam. No substitutions or alternate distances are allowed. Each event must be completed within its official time limit and all finish times will be verified after each race. Failure to finish any required race or lack of registration for a required race makes a participant ineligible for the finisher award.
Runners who complete all four events receive a custom embroidered finisher garment such as a jacket or pullover. Awards will be available for pickup at the finish line of Mountain Mist inside the lodge. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
